OnWard Media, LLC is a locally owned online media broadcasting and production company serving Northeast Alabama. Founded in April 2026 by Adam Ward, Beverly Ward, and Drew Sims, we specialize in live sports broadcasting, commercial and audio production, show production, voice tracking, digital and social media, and live event coverage. We are also the home of the Red Devil Sports Network.

We currently serve DeKalb County and Jackson County, with the long-term goal of reaching all of Northeast Alabama. Communities we cover include Rainsville, Fyffe, Sylvania, Fort Payne, Ider, Henagar, Collinsville, Crossville, and Geraldine in DeKalb County, and Scottsboro, Section, Pisgah, Woodville, Skyline, and Higdon in Jackson County - along with all surrounding communities.

OnWard Media, LLC was founded by Adam Ward, Beverly Ward, and Drew Sims. Adam brings more than 14 years of professional broadcast experience, including over 12 years as Production Director and time as Operations Manager of WAFN-FM, FUN 92.7, and The FUN Media Group, Inc. He is a four-time Alabama Broadcasters Association Sportscaster of the Year. Drew is a Fort Payne native and University of Tennessee graduate who spent four years as a sideline reporter for what was then the Red Devil Radio Show. Beverly Ward is an essential founding partner whose support and commitment made the formation of this company possible.

Yes. OnWard Media is actively working to expand coverage beyond Fyffe to serve all of Northeast Alabama. Future plans include video production and marketing, music and entertainment programming, and podcast development. Our goal is to become the premier locally owned digital media company serving the entire region.

The name OnWard reflects both our direction and our faith foundation. It speaks to pressing forward with purpose - not dwelling on the past but reaching toward what lies ahead. It is directly inspired by Philippians 3:13-14, which reads in part, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal. At OnWard Media, that is not just a motto. It is the driving principle behind every broadcast, every production, and every new partnership we pursue.

Adam Ward spent more than 14 years in professional radio broadcasting. He served as Production Director and Operations Manager for WAFN-FM, FUN 92.7, and the FUN Media Group, Inc., gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of broadcast production. Alongside his radio career, he served as the play-by-play voice of the Fyffe Red Devils beginning in 2014 and has been recognized four times by the Alabama Broadcasters Association as Sportscaster of the Year. He is also an ordained pastor at Flat Rock Baptist Church and works with Peoples Independent Bank.

OnWard Media is based in Fyffe and the Red Devil Sports Network is centered on Fyffe Red Devils athletics, but our advertising, event coverage, and digital media services already reach DeKalb and Jackson County communities well beyond Fyffe, with more coverage added as the company grows.

No. Sylvania is well within our Northeast Alabama service area, and Red Devil Sports Network broadcasts, event coverage, and advertising services are all available to Sylvania families and businesses.

The Red Devil Sports Network is OnWard Media's dedicated sports broadcast arm, covering Fyffe Red Devils athletics including football, basketball, baseball, and softball. Originally acquired from the long-running Red Devil Radio Show, the network brings professional play-by-play and production coverage to fans throughout Northeast Alabama and beyond. All home broadcasts are called live by Adam Ward, four-time Alabama Broadcasters Association Sportscaster of the Year.

The Red Devil Sports Network covers Fyffe Red Devils athletics across all four major high school sports seasons: football in the fall, basketball in the winter, and baseball and softball in the spring. We are committed to giving every sport the professional broadcast coverage it deserves, not only the sports that draw the largest crowds.

The Red Devil Sports Network is currently centered on Fyffe Red Devils athletics, where our deepest community roots are. The 2022 Alabama High School Athletic Association State Championship was one of the most celebrated seasons in Fyffe Red Devils history. Adam Ward called every game of that entire championship run as the play-by-play voice of the Red Devils, and those full broadcasts are preserved in the Red Devil Sports Network archive. That season represents exactly what the RDSN stands for: ensuring that the moments defining a community's athletic legacy are recorded, preserved, and available for every fan to relive for years to come.
